Born in Haiti in a Province call Jeremie " City of Poets"in December 1962.
Legacy of a God gifted talent. I begin painting and sculpting at the age of 5, my father, Robert Noze a Sculptor, presented me with a box containing oil paint and brushes. From that day, I have never stop painting and sculpting. A tradition I hope to pass on to my children all of whom demonstrate a passion for the gift of fine arts.
My personal fascination is the human anatomy I specially concentrated in the subject in college, because I believe it is important to capture human characteristics and the uniqueness of their personality.
My role and challenge as an artist is to pro create what God has already created. With my brush strokes and the accuracy of my chisel, the end result a fine work of art.
I have experienced the layman stage at a very young age, and now that I am accepted in the world of art as one of the masters. It becomes a personal challenge each time I am in front of a block of stone, clay, marble or an empty canvas, overwhelmed with an appetite for a new work of art that will make a difference.
Recognized as an artist at the age of 12 in 1975, after my rendition of a painting entitled "Rara". Depicting a celebration of Christ's resurrection. My father, overwhelmed with my first attempt, sold the painting for $50.00 to a tourist who fell in love with my laymen application of colors.
I am always thinking about the wonders of the world from its simplest to its most complex shapes and forms. To my eyes the world is a large canvas. Everything I see and dream about or every experience I encounter can become my next subject matter. I am able to see beauty within ugliness.
In 1976 entered the United States and begins studying art, taking private lessons at the Brooklyn Museum And the School of Visual Arts in New York Where I concentrated on color techniques, in 1979 entered Franklin Delano Roosevelt, High school with art as my major with a focus in art History at graduation received. The "Delano metal of Honor, with a full scholarship to "Cooper Union" I instead attended Pratt Institute , School of Art and Science. Majoring in fine arts with a minor in education.
